FUTSAL
The FIFA and UEFA both recognize futsal as a legitimate small-sided soccer game that is thrilling, quick-paced, and played all over the globe. In the 1980s, futsal became the FIFA's official indoor soccer format after it was determined that it was a condensed form of outdoor soccer performed indoors.
A smaller, low-bounce ball is used in this 5 x 5 small-sided game, which is played on a court with a hard surface similar to a basketball. Without walls and with touchline limits, futsal is played.
The technical ability under pressure that is heavily emphasized in futsal can be transferred to the outdoor game. Given that it requires quick reflexes, quick thinking, and precise passing, the activity is excellent for developing new skills.
There are 12 million players of futsal in over 100 nations across all the continents. Famous soccer players who grew up playing the sport, including Pele, Zico, Ronaldo, Messi, Kaka, and Katia, attribute their talent development to futsal.
